This port replicator is not a good product. The ethernet connection does not work at all and the digital video connection cannot reliably handle streaming video such as movies on Revain Instant Video. (What happens when you're watching movies is that the video "stutters" every few minutes.) USB 2.0 connections work fine, and the digital video connection works for an external monitor used as a desktop extension unless you're trying to watch a movie.

Used with the new Lenovo E420. The port replicator works as advertised. No problem installing drivers or software. I haven't tried digital video yet. It also has a VGA adapter, so I connected the monitor with a VGA cable.
