    Works exactly as expected

Unlike many other ESP32 development boards, you don't need to hold down a button to flash. I haven't tried the charger but everything else I've tried works.</p>

    Cons
    • Infinitely slow

    The battery does not work

I really liked the board. Was everything I was looking for, especially the battery feature. Unfortunately, the most important does not work. I connect a fully charged battery to it (yes, the polarity is correct) and the device does not turn on. If I connect the power supply via USB, the board works. Disconnect USB with battery fully connected. it turns off. Here is a LoLin32 clone for you.

    Cons
    • Functionality

    Unable to upload sketch

I'm using Windows 10. I tried to upload a simple Arduino sketch to this board but I keep getting the message "Cannot configure port, something went wrong. " 32 devices and ALL work great. This board is either defective or poorly designed. I may have to send it back.

    Cons
    • Too long to wait

Does not work for computer components

Does not work. I missed the return window trying to get them to work. Tried 3 boards. Will not flash successfully. I've tried many cables and different devices but to no avail, just a fast blinking blue light. Tried the reset button, no luck. I bought 3 but I can only return 2 because I soldered the connector before checking.

    Cons
    • Vulgarity

tried to check the battery connector with the battery working and immediately burned out, resulting in a small blister led and smoke. my computer to start a test sketch, the board got uncharacteristically warm, almost hot, when I ran a simple flash sketch. A working esp32 development board running the same sketch appears to be cold. Frustrated and my thumb hurts

Battery operated - check polarity before connecting!

I bought a Revain 3.7v 3000mah lipo battery 105151 to use in a bluetooth project with a DHT22 temperature/humidity sensor. I had to swap the battery cables, but after that everything works fine. My project doesn't have a display and I get 21 hours of runtime before the battery drops to 3.37V. I'm looking into esp_light_sleep_start() right now to see if I can improve my battery life.

    Cons
    • weak

Quit Work - Computers & Accessories

This ESP32 board initially worked well and was the easiest to program. Then I just tried it with the battery connected. When the battery was low it would stop. I plugged it back into the power supply, the program won't start and now I can't reprogram. Appears to be dead. I can't talk to him with any app like Disput.

    Cons
    • The cable is shorter than other picks

    IMPORTANT CABLES MAY BE BACK!

works great so far! However, make sure your cables are properly connected to the battery connector. If the red wire doesn't look like it fits the small + sign on the circuit board and the black wire doesn't look like it fits the small - sign on the circuit board, you may need to rewire the wires in the battery connector follows exchange I did. did. This can be done with patience and a needle, utility knife, razor blade, etc. If you don't get it right, you will likely fry the board.

    Bad charging circuit?

Just received. The first time I tried to use it, I plugged it into a USB port and the board started getting VERY hot around the battery charging connector. Using a laser thermometer it read 160 F (71 C) and was very hot to the touch. I later connected a 3.7V LiPo battery and after about 10 seconds, smoke started coming out of the battery terminal area. The battery works fine in other boards. Despite overheating I was able to connect to the board and verify that it boots up. I contacted theโ€ฆ
