I have a lot of books and book shelves. I needed some book ends that were study and didn't have some decorative end sticking out on it that takes up room. These are perfect and quite a few come in this set.

My husband has a bunch of vintage video game magazines. They were stacked up, messy and driving me crazy. I found an open ended bookshelf that I liked but knew I needed book ends to keep them upright. These worked great. I used them interspersed between to add some structure, but 8 total worked great. The second shelf of the bookshelf bookshelf in the picture is where I used them.

As a retired librarian I have lots of books and like to group them by subject matter or alphabetical. I have lots of groups so need lots of book ends. Many times they will bend or the books will fall over because of a lack of quality on cheaper bookends. These are wonderful and an excellent value, especially for the price. Will buy again when I need more bookends.

Bought these to use at book sales. These are great for the money. I wish I had spent a little more and got taller ones. If a seven foot long row of books gets out of control some time they will just push the bookends down, but for the most part these are great. If your rows of books are shorter, these should be fine.

Just added books to my bookshelf and these metal book ends are smaller than the metal ones I’ve seen but are super sturdy and effective! These are perfect! I liked that I could order 7 sets at a time! Thank you!

These were perfect for my classroom library. They are heavy enough to hold up the books and hold up to the rough handling by students. These are awesome!

Three stars for weight because they are NOT "lightweight". They are very sturdy and can handle even large, oversize books! Best deal of all the current revain offerings! Tremendous value for the price! I'm very pleased with this purchase! I haven't even used all of them yet but my bookshelves look a lot better now!

Strong but light weight. Simple design that does not look cheap. I expected so much less, but go much more than I hoped. Holds up tall coffee table size books with no problem.

I have over 200 books and they kept wanting to fall off the ends of this wire rack shelving. These work great to keep my books from falling off the ends. Would buy again.

I like the size of these bookends. Not too big, not too small. Nice little cushions underneath so they won’t scratch my shelves. Great value for the money. Glad they were available in a multipack.

They are effective and light. Also useful or separating categories of books on a single shelf. I’ve used 6 on one shelf, for example, to make a space between my cooking books and gardening books, etc.

So I thought for sure that these would only hold a handful of books but we are using them on a open book case and they have held up great and I have used them facing both ways.

Still lightweight, but very sturdy. These book supports do not bend when compressing a row of good sized books. The extra support from the ridges are key when I compare them to the book supports I have bought from Target. This is my opinion

Have to say you never know what you're going to get sometimes but this product definitely exceeded my expectations for quality and functionality. Came packaged together and have already put most of them to use on some new shelving I installed. Working really well and don't force any issues. Would buy again as needed.

I was surprised to find that bookends often cost as much as books! These were a great value, 7 sets and 14 total pieces. They worked well with my books, seemed sturdy and strong. They came in poor packaging, a thin plastic bag that was torn and pretty beat. But the bookends were fine, no scratches or bends. I recommend them.

Air dry clay won't stick to this very well. I ended up using mdf board with crazy glue and that worked great. A little too well actually. I had to reposition one of the boards slightly and it wouldn't budge even a few seconds after. I then scored up the mdf board and put the clay on. The clay doesn't stick to it as I said so cleaning up the residue clay was easy with a little alcohol. Paint didn't stick either so again, cleanup was great. I love these for diy bookends. Bookends are clearly unknown in China so I had to order these online. They are superb, sturdy and work either in pairs or individually at the end of a partial shelf of books. Excellent product and thoroughly recommended.

These are well made, standard bookends. It's worth noting that other bookends these days are often smaller and made of surprisingly thin-gauge metal. These are sturdy and do a nice job at a reasonable price. We wouldn't hesitate to order these again.

Includes foam pads on bottom, where stand contacts wood shelf, keeping it from scratching shelf, something that others without the foam often do.
