Review on πŸ‘ž Waterproof Chameleon Access Gunsmoke Boys' Shoes and Boots by Merrell: Durability for Any Adventure by Michael Norwood

Not waterproof but comfortable

I took a leap of faith and bought these despite mixed reviews about their water resistance. Unfortunately, they really are NOT waterproof. We live in the Pacific Northwest where October-June means rain and lots of rain. My baby's feet were wet when she wore them twice on rainy days. I'm confused as to how these shoes can be waterproof for some people and not for others, but they definitely weren't waterproof in this rainy climate. On the plus side, they're comfortable, have a good grip, and are less leaky than regular sneakers so my kid is happy enough to keep wearing them, wet socks and all. Don't buy if you're really looking for a waterproof option.

Pros
  • My almost 8 year old loves these boots. They have also performed well in the past.
Cons
  • I bought them for my son. The tip broke on the first mile of the first ride. Don't waste money.
